I have a few FI guns and two have serial numbers that are only off by one digit. I do believe there are more than 56 360/7360's out there. They also did custom serial numbers. Although I haven't seen in writing what the "W" stands for, many of us (myself included) have assumed that it simply stands for Wesson. When the W12 was being produced, the other model they had was a fixed sight service revolver called the D11. The "D" & "W" most likely were for Dan Wesson.The spinny thing is the cylinder and that number is an assembly number which has no meaning once the gun leaves the factory.
