Armor stripping weapons usually consume too much ammo, requiring ammo mutation or carrier to be equipped. Most of the time i bring armor stripping frame if i really need to strip armors.
There are a lot of very good Secondaries. The Pyrana Prime isn't the best but can certainly perform in early Steel Path or with some help from Warframe abilities. The easiest thing to recommend is the Kuva Nukor, I've also heard good things about the Ocucor with its new Nightwave augment.
